Positive: Ghassan provided the warmest welcome and made sure to do absolutely everything, in order for me to have a comfortable stay. Checking in and out went smoothly with no further issues and I had a lovely time chatting with him. The apartment itself is on the 15th floor and the building is protected 24/7 by security. Within the apartment, everything is nice and clean and the water filtration system in the kitchen works flawlessly. The apartment is split into a large living room with a flat screen TV and a couch, an open kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms. The view from the balcony is incredible and stunning! Also I was met with the kindest hospitality and kindness by everyone I encountered in the building. As a solo traveler I highly recommend staying at Ghassans lovely apartment and I myself will most likely be staying at his place again!
Negative: Once there was no water (neither warm, nor cold) for about an hour but despite that incident every facility worked flawlessly. Furthermore, some of the windows are not properly isolated and thus, as I was traveling during the coldest month, I had to turn on the mobile heater at night. Also the kitchen facilities may profit from including a somewhat bigger frying pan to the existing equipment. I was a male solo traveler. Unmarried couples need to be aware that the general egyptian hospitality, warmth and kindness wears very thin very fast when it comes to booking a mutual room in general. However if this issue should come up, I do advise talking to Ghassan as I can assure he is a honest, well mannered man of reason and kindness who can be talked to about every issue regarding your stay.
