Located within the grounds of a rural working farm, this holiday home provides you with the perfect opportunity to embrace the peace and quiet of Devonshire living, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Ingeniously built, this cosy Shepherds Hut offers open plan living with a country themed and complimentary décor, perfectly suited to your surroundings. A thoughtfully equipped kitchen, with hob which enables basic meals to be rustled up, whilst comfortable seating provide a relaxing place to unwind. A pull-out table, brilliantly built in under the sleeping accommodation reveals dining facilities. The double bed is instantly inviting, set back within a clever circular surround giving some privacy from the kitchen and dining area. The bathroom has shower which makes excellent use of the space and has a superb little sink. There is a very efficient word burner effect stove and wonderfully positioned lighting throughout. This is a truly delightful retreat and an excellent base from which to explore North Devon and Cornwall.
A short drive to the West takes you to Bude, at the tip of Cornwall, a seaside town offering some of the finest beaches in the county, impressive rock formations and at low tide a myriad of rockpools to explore. Inlets and coves await, along with cliff top vistas stretching far into the ocean. Head South along the coast and you are greeted by pretty coastal villages, including Boscastle, Port Isaac and Tintagel, forever linked with the legends of King Arthur. Venture North and the coastline changes from rugged beauty to less dramatic scenery, with stretches of golden sand meeting wooded valleys and rolling hills. Inland the towns of Tavistock and Launceston provide an array of shops, banks, pubs and restaurants, whilst the contrasting Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are never too far away. Beach 12 miles.
