Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . A beautifully renovated first floor apartment set in Polfearn House, a former country hotel, close to the shores of beautiful Loch Etive. Compact, yet surprisingly spacious, there’s an airy, modern open-plan living room, kitchen and dining area with large windows giving elevated views over fields to Loch Etive and the hills beyond, a welcoming bedroom with a comfy kingsize bed and views over the fields, and a stylish shower room with walk-in shower. The apartment is accessed via a communal carpeted stairwell and shares communal gardens surrounding the house.
Loch Etive is just a short walk from the apartment and once outside, you can see magnificent Ben Cruachan and more wonderful views of Loch Etive and surrounding glens and mountains. Perfect as a base for exploring the hills, woodlands and coastlines of Argyll, it is quiet and rural, yet conveniently close to the A85 for easy access to Argyll attractions. Taynuilt village centre is just a 10-minutes walk and has a general store, post office, butchers, hairdressers, café, craft shop, a railway station, a 9-hole golf course and sports ground.
There is a pebble beach stretching along the bay in front of Polfearn and Kelly’s Pier nearby allowing easy access to Loch Etive. There are two historical sites of interest within the village, Bonawe Iron Furnace and a memorial to Admiral Lord Nelson. Inverawe Country Park and Cruachan, the Hollow Mountain visitor centre is just 5 miles distance. You’re close to the beautiful inland Loch Awe, which offers fishing, boating and fantastic forestry walks through nearby Glen Nant.
