Located in the heart of town, you'll be minutes away from the Historic Downtown Strand area, shopping, restaurants, and events. Looking to cruise the Seawall? Seaside fun is also minutes from this perfect Island getaway.
Circa 1914 two story fully restored home, beautifully landscaped with wrap-around front porch. Back yard designed for entertaining and vacation enjoyment with pool, patio and bar area. If you choose to dine in there is a large kitchen, with island w/cooktop, and breakfast area overlooking pool, hot tub and patio area. Both formals. Hardwood floors. Many sleeping options. King bed in main bedroom, Queen beds in 2 secondary bedrooms and bunkroom sleeps 6 with twin over full bunk beds.
Galveston is an amazing and fun community! There are so many different things to do and see...there truly is something for everyone. Go-carts, miniature golf, fishing, dining, batting cages and our local movie theater. Moody Gardens Golf Course is located on the island, as is the entire Moody Gardens experience and our world-famous waterpark, Schlitterbahn. In town, enjoy one of many fabulous restaurants that offer everything from fine dining to international cuisine to some of the best burgers around. If shopping is your thing, visit The Strand and Post Office where quaint shops and art galleries abound. You won't want to miss Mod Coffeehouse or Hey, Mikey's Ice Cream! The Grand 1894 Opera House offers some of the best entertainment and shows in Texas, featuring headliners from across the country, as well as an historic setting for live theatre. We love our festivals and special events here in Galveston!
