Enclosed front garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 2 shallow steps in the garden leading into the property.. The Little Barn is in a peaceful location surrounded by the fantastic Devon countryside and is the perfect choice for guests wanting to enjoy relaxing beach days. There’s a public footpath to the side of the barn which leads down to a stream, which ends up in Ashmill & Ashwater where there’s a shop and a local pub. Dartmoor National Park is just 14 miles to the east; here you can enjoy a day of walking, only for the fittest, while discovering the vast moorland and roam the craggy landscape, defined by forests, rivers, wetlands and rock formations or tors.
The barn conversion is all on one level and offers comfortable accommodation for four. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area benefits from a cosy wood burner and a Smart TV. The kitchen area has a range style electric oven and gas hob (using gas bottles), microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The utilty room has a freezer, washing machine and a toilet. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed, patio doors to the garden and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a zip & link standard double bed which can be made up as a double or twin on request. Then there’s the main bathroom with a shower over the bath. The Little Barn also benefits from underfloor heating throughout. Outside you’ll find an enclosed stone chipped garden with lovely views and garden furniture for you to enjoy peaceful breakfasts or al fresco meals whilst enjoying the lovely surroundings. There is also ample parking at the property.
The wide golden sands of Bude and Widemouth Bay are just 20 miles away, with excellent surfing, pretty coves and dramatic coastal walks, shopping, leisure facilities, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Holsworthy is 8 miles away and offers a good selection of local shops and supermarkets along with a weekly market. Coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding and cycling are all on offer within the region, Dartmoor National Park is a must for nature and rugged scenery lovers.
