The Lodge is located just 1 minutes’ walk away from all the main facilities the park offers, including a basketball court, heated indoor swimming pool, an arcade and restaurant. The indoor facilities are open March-October and passes can be purchased for a small fee at the park’s reception.

To the north you can reach Kendal, ’The gateway to the Lakes’ in around a 25-minute drive, from there you are in the heart of the South Lakes and the Lake District National Park.
