The Manor Wing is one of two cottages set in 4 acres of beautiful, peaceful gardens with pond, surrounding the owner’s Grade II listed manor house which has been in existence since 1066! External steps take you to the first floor where the open plan living space welcomes guests with it’s beamed ceiling and comfy sofas, perfect for relaxing into after a day spent exploring the expansive grounds and surrounding area. The well-equipped kitchen with modern amenities will please the budding chef in your group. Also on the first floor is the twin room, calmly decorated to ensure a good nights sleep and the family bathroom. The double bedroom is found on the ground floor and has en en-suite shower room and stone mullion windows.
Less than 10 minutes’ drive from the nearest sandy cove on the beautiful south Cornish coast, this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers excellent walking, with pretty beaches, sailing and river trips at Fowey (5 miles) and Mevagissey (11 miles). Sailing tuition is available at Fowey. Bird-watching and fishing at Luxulyan and on the Fowey river. Golf at Carlyon Bay (3 miles), horse riding and the old port of Charlestown and St Austell, all within 5 miles. Shop 1½ miles.
