Positive: The apartment is located inside a quiet, green courtyard. Behind the main entrance door there are several studios. The access is by code. The apartment itself is newly renovated, very cozy and clean. The kitchen has everything necessary for cooking, the fridge was clean. The bathroom was also clean and had no mold. There is a park nearby. A tram stop is right in front of the building. And within 5 minutes’ walk there are a couple of grocery stores, which is very convenient.
Negative: However, I didn’t really like that the code for the apartment door was the same as the one for the main entrance. I feel it is not very safe, because anyone who knows the main code could easily try it and get inside. Unfortunately, the host did not agree to change the code. There were also a few smaller things which made the stay less convenient. In the kitchen there was an already used sponge left for the dishes, which clearly was not new. There were no cloths for wiping the surfaces, no kitchen or paper towels. Without these, it was inconvenient: after washing, everything around stayed wet. There was no dish rack, so it was impossible to dry dishes. In the welcome message, it was written that I could ask for anything needed for a comfortable stay, but when I asked for a kitchen towel, I was told that if I needed one, I should buy it myself. Another downside for me was the impossibility to open the window just for ventilation. Also, there was no mosquito screen, so in the evening many insects flew inside towards the light, burned themselves on the lamps and fell on me. This was unpleasant.
Summary: Overall, it’s a nice cozy place with potential for becoming even better with just a few improvements.
