Open-Plan Living/Dining Room - Soaring high ceiling with painstakingly restored original beams. Wood effect tile under floor heating, wood burner, seating for 4 in dining and sofa area, a glass viewing area/entrance to take in the views in rain or shine. Smart TV, games and books available..
Located 3 steps down from the Living Room:
Eat-In Kitchen - Tiled floor with under floor heating, handmade wooden units, built in eating area, Miele oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a bespoke full-wall Os map showcasing the walks and features of your own corner of The Lake District.
Toilet and sink room located off the kitchen.
First Floor -*NOTE* bedrooms are on opposite sides of the Living Room each accessed by their own stairs:
Bedroom 1 (Bankside): Bed can either be set up as 1 SuperKing bed (default) or 2 singles (upon request). Toilet/Shower room with heated towel rack and window with entrance immediately adjacent to bedroom door.
Bedroom 2 (Hayloft): With double bed and ensuite toilet/shower room with heated towel rack. Note - there is limited headroom on one side of this bedroom as it is located in what used to be the hayloft area of the barn.
Outside - private patio with picnic table to appreciate the views. Large fenced in garden shared with the owners who live on site.
Ground source heat pump central heating via underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and a starter bag of logs for wood burner included. Travel cot available upon request. Private parking for 2 cars. Strictly no smoking.
Dogs - CONTACT US TO DISCUSS - Up to two well behaved dogs will be considered upon request and agreement of house rules and payment of refundable damage deposit and additional cleaning fee. Dogs are not permitted upstairs in BRs. Sofa cover, outdoor warm water tap, & dog towels provided.
