The perfect holiday choice at any time of year with beach cafés and a choice of several restaurants and bars within a short walk. The stunning master bedroom enjoys ocean views and the rear garden backs onto open countryside and is the ideal spot for a lazy breakfast before you hit the beach. Bude, 2 miles, has three more sandy beaches and a good selection of shops and restaurants, many specialising in locally caught sea food, along with a golf course, tennis, riding, indoor ’Splash’ pool, surf schools and bowling. If you can manage to drag yourself away then the pretty fishing villages of Padstow, Port Isaac and Rock are all well worth a visit and Tintagel with the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, is close by. The wild beauty of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moors are a must for walkers and nature lovers and for a great day out Crealy Adventure Park, Newquay Zoo and the famous Eden Project are all within easy driving distance. Summary: Brilliant location, quiet yet with a short drive can get into Bude or just down to the bay. Gorgeous garden which was really good for us due to the dogs. The kitchen was near enough unusable, the job and oven are very very old. A funny smell from the oven and the hob did work but barely. We had to give up with eating at the cottage due to this. Overall the property was clean however having a little one whose toys go everywhere, between the cushions on the sofa was filthy! I would still definitely recommend and would return.
