Positive: one of the most unique places I've stayed at. jem has built over decades not just a homey retreat in the forest, but also a small community. everyone was exceptionally kind. the surroundings are beautiful, waterfalls and natural pools everywhere. ziplining in and out was "forced fun" - normally you pay for this kind of thing. you're not getting luxury, but that's not what you're here for. there's (decent) wifi, which is impressive given you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere
