Positive: Perfect location on the waterfront with amazing views across to San Marco, with plenty of nearby cafe’s, restaurants if you prefer to not stay on the main island for your evening meals. Very short walk to/from the Zitelle vaporetto stop, making it super-easy to get around Venice. Loved that it was also a short walk to Belmond’s Cipriani Hotel. The apartment is stylish, fresh, modern, clean and well-equipped, in a quiet, older-style building with an interior courtyard. It is up one flight of stairs (no lift), with the stairs wide/easy to navigate. The air-conditioned bedrooms are in the quiet rear of the apartment. There is no air-conditioning in the living area (due to the building age/design) however, there is excellent cross-breeze if you choose to have the windows open. There were no mosquitoes, and no noise disturbances during our stay, and it was fun watching the boats come and go on the waterfront, with people living in the building tending to their pot plants in the courtyard - gives a lovely feel of being part of the Giudecca island neighbourhood.
