Merchant House is a lovely 3 storey mid terrace house providing comfortable, modern family accommodation located in the village of Snettisham. Originally the street was part of the King's Lynn to Hunstanton railway line which closed in 1969 during the Beeching Cuts. The Old Coal Yard was one of the sidings areas when bunker coal was stored. It has been developed into a small, quiet cul-de-sac backing onto fields at the South of Snettisham.
There are 4 bedrooms providing accommodation for up to 6 people plus 1 baby/toddler. It is a child friendly house with stair gates on every floor and a cot in the top floor bedroom plus a private enclosed garden.
There are some beautiful country walks and woodland walks from the doorstep and the beach/RSPB/sailing club is only a few minutes drive away. There's a co-op, bakery/cafe, 2 pubs, restaurant, playground and chemist within a 20 minute walk and a further 2 cafes, antique shop and chocolatier 5 minutes walk away.

Ground floor: Entrance into hall with staircase. Lounge with electric fire, dining area, sofas, entertainment cupboard and Smart HD TV with patio doors to enclosed rear garden. Cloakroom with WC and washbasin. Kitchen with fitted units, fridge/freezer, double oven/grill & gas hob, kettle, toaster, tea/coffee facilities and washing machine. (Dryer in garage).
First floor: Spacious twin bedroom and single bedroom sharing a family bathroom with shower over bath.
Second floor: Kingsize room with ensuite shower room. Single bedroom with single bed and cot.
Garden is totally enclosed with pergola, picnic bench, access to rear private parking space and garage for storing bikes etc. Additional street parking at front.

Conveniently located on the edge of the village in a quiet cut-de-sac with numerous walks on your doorstep. Within a 20 minute walk of shops, cafes, bakery, 2 pubs, playgrounds and restaurants, Snettisham is a wonderful village to relax in whilst only being a few minutes drive from the beach, RSPB reserve, Park Farm and Wild Ken Hill Nature Reserve, 10 minutes from Hunstanton, 20 minutes from Brancaster and 30 minutes from Wells.

Coming from the south - drive up the A149 towards Hunstanton. After the village of Dersingham, turn right onto Beach Road opposite the turning signposted to Snettisham Beach. Take the first turning on the right after Sheep Ridge caravan park onto The Old Coal Yard. The parking space is the first on the left after heading under the arch between no 5 and 6.
