This property has a long history in the Grand Valley! The farm was used as a day camp for 32 years. Since 1965 children have been, and still are experiencing Moon Farm through their field trips. A pumpkin patch was added in 2011. The farm house was converted into the ultimate vacation rental in 2013.

It will take you less than 8 minutes to get to the trailhead via car - and less than 5 minutes to get to downtown Fruita for the famous Hot Tomato Pizzeria, Aspen Street Coffee and Over the Edge Sports.
If you are coming with children, there are endless things to keep them busy during the day. The farm is still operating and they can visit the animals, explore the many cultural buildings on the property or museum collections. Visit us in October when we have our pumpkin patch, themed corn maze and haunted straw maze up and running. It is quite the experience! When ever you come, this is where you want to stay!
