We have bikes (for adults and teenagers) you are welcome to use.

Our recent, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Villa de l'Arbusier is a gem, situated in a quiet cul de sac with private parking, just 400 metres from the bustling centre of the village.
Villa de l'Arbusier is located in a small residential development of nine houses set well back from the street at the end of a safe and quiet cul de sac (ideal for families with young children) offering private off-street parking directly in front of the property (one car only and free parking nearby) and protected by a security camera above the entrance door.
What will you find in the house, equipped to a high standard throughout:
Downstairs:
On entering the open living area you will be pleased to find a fully equipped, recent kitchen and appliances: induction hob, inbuilt electric fan oven, microwave oven, large fridge-freezer and dish washer.
The lighting of this area has been carefully planned to provide maximum light for food preparation (spot lights, under unit LEDs) and softer/controllable lighting (again LED) for evening entertaining - the dining table and chairs comfortably accommodate six people.
From the window to the side of the property you can see the church tower which is lit up at night.
Moving on to the lounge area you can relax in the two very comfortable sofas and enjoy watching a new 55 inch flat screen TV with satellite channels, Netflix, Canal+ Cinema and Canal+ Sport.
Brand new! Our large, bright and airy conservatory with dining table and chairs (for indoor or outdoor use), sofa armchair and coffee table.
Leading off from the living room there is the master double bedroom with a king size bed (Simba mattress), built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and with a window facing east, perfect for a glorious morning sunny « rise and shine » after opening the electric blind.
There is also a patio door which leads directly from the bedroom to the conservatory and the large terrace, equipped with a plancha and a bar-b-que for all fresco cooking.
You can play boules/pétanque on the specifically made area for this below the terrace, relax in sun loungers on the artificially grassed area or by/in the pool (heated when required) with or without the whirlpool facility.
Indoors again:
The master bedroom also has its own ensuite with shower, washbasin and toilet – Jack and Jill style - with access from the bedroom and the main reception room.
You will find the washing machine, travel cot, high chair, shelves and more in the garage which leads off the kitchen area. You are welcome to use our bikes stored here.
Upstairs
Two standard sized bedrooms:
one with view of the Etang de Thau, a king size bed (Simba mattress) and the second bedroom with twin beds, a desk and chair.
Both bedrooms offer plenty of wardrobe and drawer space.
There is a family bathroom with bath and double wash hand basin.
Separate toilet.

Marseillan is, as yet, undiscovered (of the mass travel market) - a small port between the Etang de Thau and the Mediterranean.
A charming, beautiful and unspoiled historic village standing at the entrance of the Canal du Midi, Marseillan offers both peace and tranquillity as well as many activities for visitors staying in our holiday home “Villa de l'Arbousier.”
The village offers a full programme of events, festivals with music, concerts, competitions such as the famous jousting matches in the harbour, fireworks and craft markets throughout the year. There really are so many things to see and enjoy in the relative calm and friendliness of Marseillan – all of which make it is the ideal location for your family holiday.
Marseillan is situated on the banks of the Etang de Thau, a large salt water lake and on which you can either hire small boats for self-navigation, take excursions with others around the lake in a motor launch visiting its famous oyster parks, and (even better) pay a small sum of money to join a handful of other enthusiasts on a full sized sailing boat for a day out fishing and “mucking about on a boat”!
And Marseillan has its own 7 km long golden beach just 5 kms away (most of the “mass tourism” is here during the summer leaving Marseillan village in peace!) You can cycle to the beach along the excellent cycle paths.
