Within 5 miles you will find Redruth, famous for its Cornish Mining World Heritage site at Heartlands, and also home to Victoria Gardens, a great place to visit for everyone. The Flat Lode Trail is just over 5 miles away in Carn Brea, choose from the 7½ mile circular walk starting at King Edward Mine through breath-taking countryside passing historic mines, or just wander round the ruins.
