Desert Pearl is a 510 sq. ft. (small) condo located on the first floor (no stairs) in the beautiful Arcadia neighborhood. The unit is in the most central location where guests can spend their time walking to local restaurants, catching some rays in the community pool, or driving (10 minutes) to downtown Phoenix, Biltmore, or Scottsdale! Beautiful design and decor, exceptionally clean, unparalleled location - just a few of the words that guests have used to describe this gem!
I give guests space but am available when needed.
Arcadia is a popular neighborhood in Phoenix, and a great central location for getting to Biltmore, downtown Phoenix, or Scottsdale. There are many coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance or a short drive away.
Walmart, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s , Sprouts are all within a 10 minute drive.
This condominium is in a quiet neighborhood so it's a great choice for those wanting to relax! The space is suitable for up to 3 guests, providing one king bed in the bedroom (no tv in bedroom), a convertible memory foam queen sleeper sofa in the living room, and one bathroom with a tub and showerhead.
This cozy space was designed with the guest in mind, offering all the amenities you may need to feel like you are in the comfort of your own home! Amenities include a full-size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, 65" Smart TV in the living room only, high speed Wi-Fi, and brand new in unit washer/dryer.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools to prepare a yummy meal. If it's not already in the condo then let me know and I'll do my best providing what is needed. Both a filter drip coffee machine and french press are provided, along with locally sourced coffee beans.
Washer/Dryer/Iron
The in-unit washer/dryer is supplied with detergent pods, bleach, and dryer sheets. An iron/ironing board and handheld steamer is located in the bedroom closet.
Parking
One designated carport space (height 98 inches) is available for guest use. Guest can also park off of the street in front of the complex if that is more convenient.
Other things to note
**CENTRAL AIR SYSTEM - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING **
This condominium complex was built in 1962 and utilizes a chiller system to cool and heat each unit. The chiller system circulates air into air handling units which are located in each individual condo. The air handling unit operates in two modes: cool mode and heat mode. A thermostat is not utilized in these units, but instead a dial is used where you can set the air coming out of the vents to low, medium, or high. To be clear, there is no thermostat in the unit.
The Homeowners Association (HOA) controls when the entire condominium complex transitions between heating and cooling modes. Typically, the cool air mode is active from May to November, while the heat mode is active during the colder months. However, please note that these timeframes can vary.
It is important to highlight that we have no prior knowledge or communication from the Homeowners Association (HOA) regarding the exact dates when the air system will switch between modes. We receive notification from the HOA on the day of the mode change. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
To enhance your comfort, there is an LG portable Air Conditioner in the bedroom, as well as a ceiling fan in the bedroom, and two portable fans. These can be used to improve air circulation and create a pleasant environment.
We have not had any complaints on the temperature of the unit from past guests.
-A Ring camera (not a doorbell) is located outside of the airbnb and in place for the safety of our guests, ourselves, and our unit. We reserve the right to monitor check in/check out time of our guests, cleaners in/out time, and the number of guests/pets arriving to ensure it matches what is stated on the reservation.
- A $75 fee will be charged per dog (only two dogs allowed). No other pets allowed at this time.
-On longer bookings, I provide amenities only for the first 7 days of a guests stay. Guests are responsible for purchasing their own items and laundering the towels provided for stays over 7 days.
- Please list all guests staying in the unit on the booking. If additional people are found to be using the space than what is booked for then you will be asked to leave the premises with no reimbursement.
