The space //
The Slaymaker Lock House is a recently restored and renovated historic home with no attention to detail missed. Our goal was to create a space where guests can create their own experiences and memories -- hopefully inspiring them to come back again and again.
This listing is for the full 6 bedroom house complete with 6 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2 kitchens, living, dining, family room, courtyard and front porch.
Home Features //
All 6 bedrooms have queen beds, 1800 thread count sheets and comforter and new cool gel memory foam mattresses with multiple pillows. Each closet has hangers and dressers in each room.
The front full bath includes a glass enclosure shower, marble top vanity and slate flooring. The second bath includes a tub and marble top vanity. Plenty of towels are supplied for all guests. There is a half bath on the first floor under the stairs.
Both kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses, wine glasses, cooking dishes and more.
The dining area has plenty of room for dining for guests. You may also choose to dine or enjoy morning coffee on the front porch or enjoy the backyard for the perfect private dining location.
Technology has been incorporated throughout the house with Sonos speakers throughout that you can control from the houses iPad. There is a TV in the front living room and back family room, perfect to relax and enjoy your favorite movie or shows in the living room with guest access to Netflix and Hulu.
The basement has a full size washer and dryer and an ironing board and iron.

We took great attention to detail in bringing back the original character and charm of the home through refinishing the original hardwood floor and trim details. The home is a mix of restored elements, contemporary finishes, found objects and family collections that we just love. Enjoy the high ceilings throughout and perfectly curated areas to relax, recharge and enjoy!
