Within a walkable mile and a half to the historic Sonoma Plaza.
~Two acres of sophisticated and relaxed Sonoma living. Our gated property offers a 3 bedroom main house with two and a half baths. A spacious open floor plan with vaulted ceilings combines easy flow from the expansive chef's kitchen to the open sunroom overlooking our vineyards.
The primary suite has recently been remodeled with a spa-inspired bathroom, custom built-in cabinetry, smart TV and a Tempur-Pedic king bed. The space opens up to a private deck, ideal for quiet time after a steam shower in the master bath.
The first guest room offers a tranquil setting for two with a queen size bed, seating area and lush greenery views.
The second guest room with a king bed, smart tv and seating also faces the same direction offering lovely tree shade and afternoon sunlight.
A newly remodeled full bathroom shows a double sink, all glass shower and toiletries.
The sunroom has a pool table and desk/working space and is the ideal spot for games and added relaxed space. The sunroom also offers a queen size pull-out bed. This spot is not connected to the main house's HVAC - hence it's important to consider when planning sleeping arrangements based on time of year.
The separate pool house - which is about 900 square feet - opens up to the (covered) automatic pool and fruit orchard. A rustic, airy space with vaulted ceilings, it has a king bed, small kitchen, seating, TV and office/desk space and new HVAC system. The bathroom is equipped with a sink basin and shower, and an eco-safe, dry tank toilet (electric incinerating toilet). Depending on your guests and preferences, the space can work as sleeping quarters - especially for those comfortable with eco-technology. *It is typically our recommendation the space be reserved for overflow accommodations.
Outside is your own personal resort hideaway. Lap pool with automatic cover and solar heating, cabana with dining table; hot tub, bocce and firepit midst the vines. There is also an above ground vegetable garden to enjoy in the summer months.

Summary: We specifically picked this property because of the pool house. My partner and I stayed in the main house and let my 22 year old daughter have the pool house to herself to give us both a little space and privacy. To be honest, we were so busy with wine tastings that we really did not get any time to enjoy the exterior of the property. We didn't get to use the pool or the jacuzzi, but we peeked into both and they were clean and pristine. The interior of both the main house and the pool house were a solid "10" that would feel right at home in Architecture Digest magazine. The exterior, I confess, could use some updating and remodeling. (Sorry, I hate astro turf) But since we did not use the outside at all, I'm not counting it in this review. The listing accurately lists the eco toilet in the pool house. (Think of a toilet in an RV with zero odor). My daughter only used it for #1 and just walked 50' across the driveway into the main house's 1/2 bath for #2. Air conditioning, hot water, and all other necessities were perfect. The back sunroom with the pool table is not air conditioned and could get very hot during the day. But I just feel like I have to say that to nitpick about something. The hosts were very responsive and attentive. You can stay here with complete confidence.
