A Unique Muskoka Experience - Couples Retreat | House in Port Carling

1 Bedroom House in Port Carling
Bartwood Manor, a private couples retreat, located at the forest edge (great area to jog, walk, bike) directly across from Auntie Doodie's Antiques (Corner of Stephen & Joseph rd), a 5 min walk to Hanna Park (public beach, boat launch, farmer's market), 5 min walk to Port Carling's "downtown core" where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, galleries or grab an ice cream and take a stroll to check out local attractions such as the Muskoka Lakes Museum, the Lift Bridge, the Locks, etc. If hiking is an interest, we're about 10 min drive to (one of my personal favourites) Huckleberry Rock Lookout (great for novice), 25 min drive to Hardy Lake Prov. Park (trails for all levels) and many more! For all you water lovers, Port Carling is also known as "The Hub of the Lakes" (for good reason), tucked in between Lake Rosseau, Lake Muskoka & Lake Joseph and as stated above, we're a 5 min walk to Indian River (boat launch, beach). We can supply space (with limitations) if you'd like to bring your own gear or feel free to check out local businesses to rent for the day! There's something to do for everyone. If you'd just like to kick back and relax, we invite you to grab a book and enjoy our very own Bartwood Garden (seasonal) where you can enjoy the many birds and wildlife that visit us daily (daytime can get a little noisy with traffic but calms down later in the afternoon).
