It is located a few minutes by foot from the center of Volos and you can very quickly reach the beach, where we reccomend you to enjoy your coffee, tsipouro or "pasta fournou" at MINERVA cafe.It will be your base for excursions to Pelion and its magnificent beaches.
The space
The house was built more than 65 years ago, and has been well maintained for three generations. After many changes in the layout and renovations, it consists of two comfortable bedrooms with large fitted wardrobes, a large kitchen/dining room with fireplace, a bathroom, and two large living rooms. In one of the living rooms, the old buffet (from the dowry of the grandmother) is decorated with china and crystal glasses with carafe (try the homemade Keraso liqueur it contains). On the corner of the living room, the French porcelain stove that you will see has been there for more than 60 years and was one of the main heating sources of the house until 1990. In the other living room we placed a large (50-screen) smart TV and a very comfortable corner sofa, to relax for a few hours between your beautiful tours. Both sofas in the two living rooms can be converted into double beds, favoring the stay of a large family or group of friends. In the comfortable hallway, we have placed a small office so that you can comfortably cope with your business obligations while you enjoy your holidays. The house has very reliable WiFi and its signal covers both the interior of the house and the yard. In the bedrooms you will find all the necessary bed linen, sheets, double pillows, duvets etc. washed and scented with personal care. In our bathroom you will find shampoo, shower gel, soaps and natural toilet paper, towels and bath towels. In the kitchen you will be able to prepare your coffee, breakfast or other meal because we provide you with full equipment in coffee makers, cooking utensils, crockery etc. In the cupboards you will always find filter coffee, coffee capsules for espresso, Greek coffee, a variety of teas, sugar, oil, salt, pepper and some basic spices. In the fridge you will find juice and bottled water, and some ingredients for your breakfastyour car can be parked in the courtyard where we have a very beautiful built-in dining area to enjoy (weather permitting) your coffee or your drink.
