Summary: The purpose of our stay was for our honeymoon as we got married at a resort in Playa Del Carmen and wanted to have a few extra days to wind down from our group destination wedding - what a find! This quaint unique condo offered the most characteristic authentic style coupled with the sound of the ocean with or without the windows open to lull you to sleep. This location was perfect with minutes walking to eateries, market and 500m walk to Yal Cu Lagoon for a picturesque snorkeling experience. We rented bikes for the day to explore and sight see into the main center of Akumal but we also walked there with no issue within 30 minutes. There were a few minor hiccups with the unit but JP and Claudia were onsite and there to fix the issue. All in all the unit was well equipped, clean and such a cool set up with the flex space of a yoga space. We loved that our condo had daily onsite personel Manuel, Ernesto and Karina to upkeep the pool, surroundings and cleanliness. The views, proximity to the ocean and amenities were amazing. I did enjoy the morning sunrise and coffee on the deck is dearly missed ;-( Thank you JP and Claudia were great hosts but also super helpful with retrieving a taxi and anything else we asked or requested.
