Alinghi Beach House is a testament to an Australia that once was. From the native wildlife to the wondrous Southern Great Barrier Reef, the 14 acres of raw bushland and rocky outcrops that surround the eco-friendly property is yours to explore.
THE PROPERTY
As passionate nature lovers, the owners envisioned Alinghi Beach House to be a tranquil escape with stunning beachfront views of the Pacific Ocean on the exclusive Rocky Point Estate. Overlooking the majestic Honeymoon Bay, Alinghi Beach House is ideal for sun-seeking families, relaxing getaways with friends, or couples who prefer more room to move.
Designed by award winning Australian Architect James Grose, Alinghi floats against the cliffs of North Queensland’s Capricorn Coast, at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef.
This eco-chic property comfortably sleeps eight across four bedrooms (3 king size rooms, 2 with ensuite bathrooms, and 1 bunk room). In addition, for groups who like a bit more luxury and added privacy, there is a self-contained Master Pavilion which is separated from the Main Pavilion by a stunning travertine terrace. This luxurious pavilion comprises a self-contained Master Bedroom suite with attached ensuite bathroom & shower, as well as a fully-equipped study – sleeps 2. This pavilion can be booked for an extra cost on special request.
Quality furnishings, equipped with modern accessories and slick entertaining areas are accompanied by jaw-dropping views and the sound of crashing waves. With its beachfront position and bunk rooms, it’s hard to imagine a better getaway.

Upon arriving in Bundaberg you will be welcomed by Queensland’s warm and laid back charm. From here, you will embark on a 1½ hour drive through magnificent bush and coastal landscapes that will lead you to the sleepy coastal hideaway of Agnes Water/1770. This area of Central Queensland quietly sits apart from the more heavily explored regions of Australia’s east coast and has maintained an authentic and unspoiled natural beauty.
Just a few kilometres away, set amid 14 acres of rich bushland and resting upon the pristine waters of the Pacific Ocean you will find ‘Alinghi Beach House’.
As the gates open to a breathtaking view of the sea, you will be captivated by the serenity of this contemporary beach house retreat. Icy cold beers, chilled wine, tropical fruit and a grocery hamper are provided for you upon arrival. Kellie, our caretaker, will be also be there to greet you with all the information you need and to answer any questions you have about the house and the area. Kellie lives on the estate and will be on hand should you need her at any stage throughout your stay.
Your stay at ‘Alinghi Beach House’ is a 5 star experience, with every activity and service you would expect from a luxury hotel, yet within the complete seclusion of your own private paradise.
This is an escape where you are in control and anything you require will be provided by you. Peaceful isolation is yours should you not want to see another human being throughout your stay. We can also arrange for in-house catering, private massage and yoga without you needing to step a foot off the property. If more action is what you desire you have access to fantastic activities in the area, like fishing, scenic flights, 4WD tours, swimming, surfing and more.
RULES:
Minimum stay – 3 nights
Minimum stay – Xmas / New Year – 7 nights
Minimum stay – Easter & Public Holidays – 4 nights
The maximum capacity of the Main House is 8 people.
For larger groups of 10 (when hiring Master Pavilion at an extra cost) the maximum nights becomes 6.
A damage deposit is taken as part of the booking process. This is held until after your stay and refunded within 48 hours once the property has been inspected and no damage has occurred.
The Private Master Pavilion may be rented in addition to the main house upon request. It cannot be rented separately.
Unfortunately Alinghi is not wheelchair accessible.
A 3 car maximum is enforced.
Pets are not allowed.
Areas of property will require adult supervision of children, e.g. pool and decorative pools. Parents/Guardians of children aged under 8 years old will be required to sign a disclaimer.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept bookings for Party, Weddings, Hen’s or Stag’s celebrations or Schoolies Groups. The below party policy requires signing prior to check-in.
It is our objective to ensure that all of our guests enjoy their stay at Alinghi Beach House. We do not allow any type of party at our property as the nature of the estate is tranquil. We promote a quiet luxury getaway. Management reserves the right to evict persons who do no not adhere to our “NO PARTY POLICY”. This document will be considered a first warning. No second warnings will be given.
For the comfort and safety of all property owners on the estate, our guests must follow the policies of Alinghi Beach House:
Misconduct and misuse of the property and facilities is prohibited. We do not allow parties of any kind to be held at Alinghi Beach House. Specifically, no excessive noise, loud music or disruptive behaviour will be tolerated at the property.
Noise is considered excessive when other individuals on the estate are disturbed. It is the policy of Alinghi Beach House not to accept bookings for Weddings, Hens
Nights, Stag Nights, Party Groups or Schoolies. Any intended use of the property for such purposes is grounds for cancellation of your reservation.
We are unable to accept bookings for groups of under-25-year olds unless they are accompanied by a minimum of 2 responsible adults or parents.
We reserve the right to photograph any damage or negligence for our records.
The maximum number of guests allowed into the property is 10. We do not allow external guests into the estate. Please speak to our caretakers should you have any questions.
Please note this is a requirement for any booking that is made for Alinghi Beach House.
Alinghi Beach House is complying with government restrictions and recommendations in regard to Covid-19. Guests will be asked to confirm a series of questions prior to confirmation of booking, some of which may be asked again during check-in and may require proof of confirmation. Requirements may vary as government restrictions and recommendations are updated/varied.
I have read and understand all policies and procedures listed above and agree rental of the property is conditional upon abiding by the policies of Alinghi Beach House. Should there be any damage or extra cleaning for which my guests or I are responsible, I agree the damage deposit will cover any of the necessary costs. By signing this form, I consent to any action which may be necessary to evict me from the property and/or hold me financially responsible as noted above if the policies and procedures are not followed.
