Positive: Redhouse is in an exceptional location, almost completely unspoiled and with a stunning view of Kilimanjaro. It’s a short distance from Iremito Gate; the dirt road isn’t particularly rough, but it isn’t well marked. Follow the signs for Little Amanya Camp from the main road. The property is wonderful, well-organized, and spotlessly clean. The most comfortable beds of our entire vacation! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook (you’ll need to bring your own food, since there’s nothing nearby!). We’ll always hold the staff close to our hearts: we lit a bonfire under the stars and talked at length about Kenya and the local culture! It was truly wonderful!
