We offer a modern spacious apartments overlooking the Ryck (river through Greifswald) in the residence on Ryck, right on the small marina near the center of the university and Hanseatic city of Greifswald. Here you can enjoy the unique maritime flair and the beautiful Nordic landscape, watching passing ships, sailing yachts as well as paddlers and rowers. The city of Greifswald has its charm both in summer and at all other seasons. A 5-minute walk will take you to the cult baker of Greifswald or to the supermarket. The sights of the city such as the Caspar David Friedrich Center, the Pomeranian State Museum, Brick Gothic, the University or the Museum Harbor your walk takes about 20 minutes. On the doorstep is the town-famous towpath on which the ships were formerly pulled to the open sea. Today it is the most popular hiking and biking trail, where you can easily reach the quaint fishing village of Wieck with the historic timber bridge, the ruins of the Eldena monastery or the lido. Greifswald is an ideal starting point for excursions to the world heritage city of Stralsund, to Rügen and Usedom to the most beautiful beaches on the Baltic Sea by car, bus and train or by ship.
