Positive: The location was great, the apartment lovely and more spacious than we expected. Everything was very clean when we arrived. It was also nice to have two toilets and the location was good, due to the lack of snow this year we were not able to ski in/out of the apartment and had to walk 5 minutes to the chairlift - not an issue for us.
Negative: The apartment is really nice, the kitchen was well stocked with crockery and glassware, and the location and views were great. However our experience with the agency left much to be desired. Their communication was very poor. Prior to our arrival they had asked me for the same info over and over again about our arrival and could never directly answer my questions until the second or third attempt. I did not feel they were transparent about a lot of extra costs we incurred until after we had booked (e.g. linen, after hours key pick up, wifi, cleaning, security deposit of 500€). Additionally, when we arrived we had to return an "inventory" for the apartment check-in process and never received a response from the agency, even though we had inquired about the cost and possibility of cleaning for the apartment after we learned we were expected to clean the place in full ourselves or be charged. This didn't transmit much feeling of hospitality or welcome. Some other notes that did not leave a good impression or feeling of value for our stay: - No welcome kit was provided, even though it was stated, there was only some dishwashing liquid and dirty used sponges and little toilet paper. - Surprised to have no cold running water, the pipes seem to mix or just pump out warm water almost all the time. Very strange for winter in the mountains! - The beds and pillows were not very comfortable, we found them lumpy and the bed springs were evident.
Summary: Lovely apartment, lacklustre management.
