The Petit Mazot is tiny and tiny, and its juice (though it has been redesigned to make you comfortable!) is waiting for you. Our 19th century Haute-Savoyard attic, originally designed to protect precious objects from fire, immerses you in the history of traditional mountain habitat, between guest house, refuge and small independent chalet.
You will have a bedroom with bathroom and wooden bath on the first floor, a small living space with table and 2 chairs, as well as a device of dry toilets, on the lower level. Beware! The Petit Mazot does not have an independent kitchen!

Wood, preferably local or from renovated traditional farms, worked with the know-how of local craftsmen, is therefore widely used in our places. Our soil, a hypnotizing blue-gray clay-limestone, has pushed us to combine it with the minerality of lime coatings tinged with natural pigments.
We have favored the principles of eco-construction, wool, metis, phytopurification, heat pump, reuse, in order to reduce the environmental impact of our project and to offer you a healthier habitat.
Dry toilets, Norwegian pot, Bokashi composter, solar oven... in our gites, we also wanted to invite you to discover low-tech, devices as playful and efficient as sustainable, which artfully preserve our resources while promoting our comfort.
Around you, we put in place a layout guided by the principles of permaculture, because our goal is as much to invite you to marvel at the abundance as to enjoy it freely during your stay.
You will also have the opportunity to leave your car at rest during your stay and benefit from our fleet of electric assistance bicycles, including cargo models to take up to 2 children or adults, at special price to move you and visit our beautiful territory.
