Positive: We were informed on arrival that the accommodation was overbooked, so we were upgraded to a sea view room at the nearby Emily's Hotel, so that's what my review describes. The breakfast is plentiful, the staff are friendly (although sometimes they like to sit in their armchairs and play on their phones instead of serving), the rooms are tidy.
Negative: The biggest problem is the location of the hotel rooms in relation to the dining room and the pool, as the noise from these places (breakfast and dinner, children playing, waterfall splashing) is too loud to sleep even on the top floor, with the doors closed and the air conditioning on. Moreover, unfortunately, the room has a view not only of the sea but also of the neighbouring cemetery. Although it's not entirely the hotel's fault (perhaps there should be a code of conduct?), the behaviour of most of the guests was appalling. At breakfast, despite the spacious space and the few persons, people were pushing and shouting, and during Shabbat the children were running up the stairs and playing football in the corridors all day while listening to music and shouting. All in all, we think it was not worth the value for money, we booked a much better hotel in Jerusalem for the same money.
