Positive: I always hesitate to share a secret find…A very comfortable and well appointed villa with gorgeous views from most rooms and direct access to secluded beach on to a very shallow lagoon. Rocca has been carefully designed around friends and family beach living. There are several sun terraces, both open and covered and plenty of external dining spaces either overlooking infinity pool or by bbq and abundant trees and shrubs. It was ideal for our party of 5 adults and 2 infants but could accommodate more (but that would spoil the luxury of space!). The owners have been generous in sharing their own equipment (no locked cupboards for private crockery!). Laundry and kitchen are all sufficient and in good order everywhere, as is the a/c in all bedrooms. The entire property is well looked after and managed professionally. We had a recurring difficulty which the manager did their best to address, and for which the owners personally ensured we had no complaints. Security has been carefully considered and we felt at ease. It is hard to imagine a better place- and we know Mauritius very well!
Negative: These are not criticisms but may help others. A car is essential.
