You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living/dining area “great room” on each level in addition to outdoor dining and relaxing areas; each kitchen has a stainless steel oven/stove, a large refrigerator with ice maker, a microwave (among other smaller kitchen appliances), and a dishwasher. With eight bedrooms and five full baths (one king bed, six queens, and two twins which can be made into a king), your group will be quite comfortable! Every room in the villa has a mini-split AC unit and ceiling fan.
Entering the home through the ground floor sliding glass doors leads you into the first roomy “great room” which combines living/dining area with the full kitchen just beyond. The spacious area has options for table dining for eight as well as seating at two bar/breakfast areas. The large “L” couch is great for relaxing, socializing, and watching TV.
The ground floor has a total of four bedrooms and two baths, with two bedrooms and a full bath on either side of the living/dining area. Each bedroom has a four poster queen bed with sheer curtains and colorful Mexican tiled head- and footboards! The two full baths each have a stall shower and vibrant Mexican tiling.
Heading up the outdoor stairway, you come to the 1800 square foot (167 m²) veranda! There is a shaded breakfast area, a covered bar area with multicolor tiling, and still plenty of space for an open air dining table for up to eight and several lounge chairs.
From the beautiful veranda, head in to your second spacious “great room” with kitchen, dining & living areas all under a gorgeous gabled ceiling of native Belizean woods. The large windows & glass doors allow beautiful views of the sea while cooking, dining and relaxing. This living area has three large sofas which make for easy socializing, plus there is an entertainment center in a built-in armoire when you want to relax in front of your favorite movie or show. The dining table comfortably seats eight.
The kitchen has a central island with bar seating area for three plus the oven/stove and an additional sink. Enjoy beautiful touches such as the granite counter tops and custom-made mahogany wood cabinets.
The balcony that encircles the house has multiple access points, including via three of the four bedrooms.
The principal bedroom has a king bed and en suite full bath with stall shower and separate tub. This bedroom has a large window and a sliding glass door that allow panoramic views of the sea as well as veranda access.
The second and third bedrooms each have beautiful original wall murals done by a local artist. Each of these rooms has a sliding glass door to the balcony. Between these two bedrooms is a “jack & jill” double sink area and a separate toilet and tub/shower room. One bedroom has twin beds (which can be made in to a king) & one has a queen.
The fourth bedroom is the smallest, but still plenty spacious with the closet area being just outside the bedroom itself in a private corridor. It has a queen bed & guests would use the full bath (with tub/shower) just off the living room.
All bedrooms have mini-split air conditioning units, so can be individually climatized.
Your private pool is 37 x 18 feet (11.25 x 5.5 meters) with an infinity edge facing the sea; the deepest part is 6.5 feet (2 meters). You’ll have plenty of space for relaxing on the many cushioned lounge chairs on the pool deck, plus of course the nearby hammock! You won’t be short of fabulous views while swimming, eating and relaxing here.
There is a small palapa just off the beach where you can enjoy the views in the shade!
We share our next door neighbor's pier (available 6 am to 6 pm) where any tour operator will pick you up and drop you off for excursions. Fishing off the pier is quite popular and the palapa at the end of the pier keeps you cool in the shade.

The island of Ambergris Caye, “La Isla Bonita”, is a popular tourist destination. You can get here from the mainland either via a 15 minute flight (US$175*/person round trip to/from BZE) or a 90 minute boat trip (scheduled water taxi: US$56*/person round trip; chartered water taxi at higher cost). *Rates subject to change
Casa Redonda is located 3.5 miles/5.5 km south of San Pedro’s town core, which means you are far from the crowds yet still within easy reach of everything. There is a ‘sunset bar’ just down the road; a mini-mart and a couple of restaurants just a mile away; and of course more dining & shopping options on the way to & in town!
The trip to & from town can be a fun adventure; remember that roads in Belize and on the island are not what you might be used to, as the route involves hard sand packed road as well as road made of cobbled pavers with several speed bumps en route. (The road is paved in town and up until you are 2 miles south of town; from then on it is hard packed sand.) But who needs to go fast when you’re on La Isla Bonita?
Most people rent golf carts when visiting Ambergris Caye (it’s not possible to rent a car); they come as 4 or 6 seaters & are typically delivered to/picked up from the house. Rental costs depend on the cart size and time of year but start at about US$320*/week. *Rates subject to change

The Belize Barrier Reef, the longest in the western hemisphere, is very close to shore making the area ideal for scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing; other water sports are also popular.
It's easy to take a day trip to the mainland to visit Maya sites such as Altun Ha and Lamanai; or to observe some of the 500 species of birds found in Belize and/or catch a glimpse of monkeys, manatees and crocodiles in the wild!
