Beautiful home on a private beach at Long Beach in Wainfleet, Ontario. Waterfront cottage with elevated view of Lake Erie and the white sand beaches.
Open concept home with a large foyer area setup as a home office. Dining area opens into kitchen on one side and living room on the other. Patio doors lead from the kitchen and sunroom to a beautiful backyard overlooking the beach. The sunroom overlooks the lake with a gas fireplace to keep you warm on cool nights.
The cottage has four bedrooms: two on the main floor, one double and one queen, and two on the lower level, each with a double/ twin bunk bed.
There are two decks for you to choose one: an two-sided deck attached to the home, and a large deck overlooking the water. Two beautiful willows provide beautify and shade, both on the main part of the property and on the private beach.
There are two cottages on the property, the main BeachFront cottage and a small 1 bedroom guest house on the road side of the property that can rented separately.
To cover the cost of the pump out fees, laundry is available as an option for a fee of $75 per week.

Summary: Location on beach is amazing. The views and decks are really nice. Host were responsive when needed. With that said, the listing details need to be adjusted. We were not advised in the listing that we would be sharing the property with other renters. there’s another small cottage on property. Lucky for us Gary & Wendy who were there were amazing and helped us figure out lots of stuff that our host hadn’t really shared. Additionally, The cottage itself needs cleaning, lots of dirt and cobwebs everywhere. The bedrooms on main floor are listed as 2 queens, only 1 queen other one is a double and mattresses are at least 15-20 years old. We know this because old owner came by and told us. If your wanting a good night sleep good luck. No TV channels to watch even thought there is a tv, not a big deal for us as we were outside most of time, but if you have kids bring your dvds. Also letting guests know what kitchen amenities are included would be good, specifically a coffee maker. There’s a keurig coffee maker but only worked sometimes. Experience could be amazing with not many upgrades/changes. invest in new mattresses, advertise it properly so people aren’t disappointed and invest in small things like working coffee maker, shower curtains from dollar store would be huge, we had to Lysol that down it was filthy. Overall it comes down to advertising the property with the right info and cleanliness are the 2 big ones that made our stay somewhat disappointing. If they share the right info; expectations are set and there are no big disappointing surprises.
