Positive: The property was clean and had excellent security and free parking. Walking distance to the aqua boats. Communication with owner was quick and issues were resolved
Negative: There are good restaurants walking distance bit you need to uber because there are so many drug addicts close by. I walked to and from Thirfty Car rental but you need to beware of the addicts early (8am) as well as early evening. This is not the fault of the owner but we would have stayed elsewhere if we had realized the problems in the area. We had some difficulty getting into the unit but it was resolved relatively quickly. Part of the issue is the level security in the building but once you get into the unit and get the Fob for the building door and elevator its quick to get access to the building. The unit door is secure number combination. We had problem locking the door one time and were instructed to just leave the door unlocked. Felt ok about this because its so secure and a high rise. Lock was fixed that afternoon. The only grocery store nearby is T and T, an asian supermarket so you cant get easy access to typical groceries. The market on granville island that you can access via the aqua boat is a good option for shopping but albeit you have to be willing to walk back to the unit with groceries from the dock (10 min walk). The subway runs directly next to the building but i live in a city so i get used to that noise relatively quickly.
