Family Friendly Lake Michigan home with 100 feet of gorgeous beach overlooking the Manitou Islands. Incredible dinners on the beach as the sun sinks into the lake turning the sky into a sea of color.
This home features a master bed with connected bath including 2 toilets, 2 sinks and a large walk-in shower. Off the master bed is a private sitting area with stove for cozy evenings and deck for summer days.
Upstairs is a second bedroom with king bed overlooking the lake. Another large bedroom has a king bed and queen bed with two closets. A shared full bath with walk-in shower compliments the space.
The main floor is a uniquely open space with full sight lines from end to end. Enjoy drinks with friends or prepping dinner at the restored 12 foot island that used to be in a general store. A GE Monogram gas oven with 5 burner stove top provides ample space for meal creation. The large farmhouse sink makes it easy to wash the fresh fruits and vegetables you can pick up daily from the local farms. A feature of the kitchen is the full Frigidaire refrigerator that will keep all your foods fresh.
In the dining area is a custom made farmhouse table that easily sits 8-10 guests. Or take it outside to the table on the deck and enjoy the waves lapping at the shore. If you’re a true beach lover, throw a table cloth on the beach table for 8 and have a true northern Michigan evening steps from the Lake.
When it’s time to venture off the private road, the towns of Northport, Leland, Sutton’s Bay and Glen Arbor are calling. Or maybe you want to test your golf game at the Leelanau Club at Bahle Farms, Manitou Passage, or Northport Creek (9 holes, fantastic). You can also catch the ferry to South Manitou for an overnight adventure or spoil yourself with a winery tour around Leelanau.
