Positive: Outstanding view and very comfortable, spacious property. A wonderful place to visit with birds, deer and lots of spaces to relax i .

Negative: For the money we paid I was disappointed in the number of items that were broken or unusable. I encourage the owners to look at fixing and maintaining them so the experience is as wonderful as it could be. The toilet seat in the ensuite was broken and the flush didn’t stop running; the sliding door at the side by the telephone was broken; the microwave didn’t work despite many attempts, but there were no instructions. Two wine glasses were cracked when we arrived and the only four wine glasses we could find were in the second fridge. At one point a fuse tripped and because there was no reception and therefore no internet we couldn’t look at the house manual. It took us some time to find the fusebox outside the front gate. I’d recommend having the basics printed in the house for those eventualities. The coffee pods provided didn’t fit the coffee machine. The main kitchen bin was unwieldy because the electric opener was not working. There were cobwebs in the second bathroom and the living room when we arrived, which we walked into. There were no dishwasher tablets. Some of the lamps didn’t work. The remote control for the tv in the living room didn’t work on the tv, and again no instructions. There was no wood or kindling for the fires. The view and the comfort of the bedrooms were outstanding, and we would consider returning. I don’t want to give the impression this is t a good place to stay, but I think some attention is needed to warrant the price.
