A cozy little cottage in the woods sounds perfect, somewhere we can unwind without tasks, to-do lists, or chores. Ideally, it would be near a pond or hiking trails, offering the chance to explore nature or even play games in an open field. The space should be non-smoking and pet-free, ensuring a clean and tranquil retreat. A grill and a fire pit would make it even better, allowing us to roast marshmallows and enjoy quiet evenings beneath the stars. If possible, finding a spot adjacent to a national park with hiking trails would be incredible. And affordability is key—if we could make it work for three nights, we’d return truly refreshed. Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Black Bear cabin very much. It was very clean and well appointed. The hosts were very kind and personable and answered all of our questions and took care of all our needs in a timely manner. We enjoyed fishing in the pond and actually caught 4 fish! Our only complaint is that it was farther out of town than we realized it would be. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the drive in and out of the site. It is a beautiful rustic area and provided a great few days in the mountains without the crowds and traffic of larger places. Altogether enjoyable!
