Positive: Black Rock is a very comfortable cottage, with far-reaching views to the sea and within an easy drive of so many great places to visit, making it an ideal and peaceful location for a Cornish getaway. We managed to cram a full itinerary into our visit, despite the weather! The cottage was very well appointed with two ensuite bedrooms and lots of 'living' area, offering space and comfort, and was equipped with everything needed to make the most of our week-long visit. Jane popped her head in to offer us a warm welcome shortly after we arrived and was always available onsite if needed. Sadly we didn't get to say goodbye when we left but we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend Black Rock to anyone looking for peace and quiet, with very simple access to the area.

Negative: The only minor grumble we have is the creaky upper landing between the bedrooms, which made it a challenge not to wake everyone else when rising
