Summary: Ok, I have to say that I don’t like writing bad reviews but feel like there are important takeaways that everyone should know before deciding if this is the right place for them. A little background we have been to many 5-star and 3-star places. We visited Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cabo, Hawaii, and Costa Rica. This was not any of them in a negative way. On our check-in, we got our orientation which included no swimming in the ocean as there was seaweed and no real place to swim(it was like that for the whole island...only Secret beach-and this was not really much of a beach. We Only went there for couple of hours and kids wanted to leave). Other items on orientation- do not flush toilets with toilet paper and to discard soiled toilet paper in the trash can because the sewage pipes can't handle it. Next, we settled in and the sheets for our bedroom and the kids bedroom were so dirty. small red drops...not sure what that was. The kids had a bunch of other stains. One of the kids beds sheets was clean with no stains. Anyway, we changed the sheets ourselves that were in the closet and told the office and they seemed as a big shock and offered us a free one-hour massage(which was very nice of them). But still, we spend a lot of money for our one week vacation and was not what we expected. The showers had very low water flow, the furniture, kitchen appliances, paint everywhere was very old and chipped needed a serious makeover. not as advertised. C No jacuzzi. the pool was mediocre.
