Summary: The rooms are pleasant, spacious and very well-equipped for a short or long term stay. The floors and walls are a little dingy. They provide the expected items for an apartment - towels, dishes, utensils, cookware and spacious closets with soft-close drawers. All rooms also have a half-bath which is a nice extra. The furniture is comfortable, though the bed is very firm and the linen very heavy (read: hot). It’s a useful location though walking in Nairobi is an adventure - sometimes there are sidewalks and often it’s just dirt or cracked concrete. So while the location is near many things, walking to them is an experience. We had some challenges with our stay - the hot water in our unit went out twice. The staff was responsive, even offering us a vacant unit to shower on the second occurrence and treating us to dinner after the first occurrence for the inconvenience, but such experiences are unexpected. The gym is well-equipped and staffed with a trainer. Housekeeping is uneven - sometimes they left hand towels and sometimes not. And frequently there was hair on the floor from what I assume are dirty mops. Overall, given the competitive price, it’s an excellent bargain, but it provides a comfortable stay, not a luxury one.
