These charming bungalows are situated in a rural setting within the Nature Park, overlooking the shores of the sea water lagoon, the Estany des Peix.
Location
The bungalows are situated on the track to Punta Pedrera which leads off the road between La Savina and Portu Saler.
They are in an ideal location to access the beaches of Illetes and Cala Saona with La Savina and San Francisco within easy reach by bicycle, car or scooter.
There is a path around the lagoon into La Savina should you wish to take the short walk into the harbour.
A small beach on the lagoon shore directly in front of the bungalows gives the opportunity to enjoy sunbathing and swimming in the calm waters.
The bungalows provide a comfortable base in authentic Formentera style from which to explore the island and are close to the shops, restaurants and facilities of La Savina and San Francisco.
The area is ideal for walking and cycling in the Nature Park and exploring the spectacular coastline of Punta Pedrera along the many tracks and green cycle routes that cover the island.
The lagoon is the perfect place to practice swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, sailing, wind-surfing and paddle-boarding.
A water sports school is located on the other side of the lagoon in La Savina, they have all the necessary equipment for all activities and also rent small boats to venture out to sea and explore the surrounding bays and beaches.
Accommodation
The bungalows are maintained to a high standard by the owners and are set in a quiet pine copse on a hill, surrounded by gardens with chill-out areas from where views can be enjoyed across the lagoon towards La Savina.
Each bungalow has a small breakfast area, two bedrooms, a modern bathroom with walk-in rain-rose shower and a fully equipped traditional-style Formentera kitchen with an oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster.
They are all air-conditioned and have private terraces with furniture for sun-bathing and al-fresco dining (and breakfasting!)
Please note: The two bedroom bungalows do not have an internal living room area or sofa, but they have a large external terrace with seating to enjoy.
