Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The cabin is very comfortable and clean, spacious. Location is good (the village is tiny, so basically it is off the main road but easy to find, so great!).

Negative: We paid much more than expected (CLP 98.000) due to the 19% IVA tax which we later learnt we shouldn’t pay as tourists… not sure if they have to apply it due to not being a hotel but be warned that it was a LOT more expensive than the booking.com estimate. The second time we came I just texted them and we only paid 65.000. Also both times the staff asked when we will arrive, we told them well in advance and accurately, and we still had to wait for them, clearly they had not left their home until we arrived at the house and texted again. We didn’t wait that long but I think they should come at the agreed time rather than asking and then letting us wait outside
