Located on the serene Gulf of Mexico beach in quiet Fort Morgan (outside of Gulf Shores), Cair Paravel West offers amazing views and the convenience of vacation-goers' dreams. Uniquely situated, the property offers spectacular views of both the Gulf and Mobile Bay and has 5 Bedrooms, 3 Full Bathrooms, and an additional sleeping bunk room (the “Spare Oom” - though no magical wardrobe has yet to be found. The property, located on the west side of the duplex, was renovated in 2021. Cair Paravel West shares a large pool and pool deck with the other side of the duplex, Cair Paravel East.
Convenience is key with the pool and the beach just steps from the house. The pool deck is large enough to serve meals, play games and soak up the sun. Swim laps or just lounge in the huge pool while the little ones enjoy the small wading pool attached to it. A short boardwalk leads directly to the open, white sand where you can set up an umbrella or tent and chairs, kayak, fish, search for sea shells, or just relax on the beach.
The first level of the house includes the large, open living area, fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as two bedrooms and a full bathroom. First level bedrooms include one king bed and full-size bunk beds with views of the Mobile Bay. The first level opens onto a screened in porch and sunning porch.
The second level of the property includes the Master suite with king bed and ensuite bathroom, 2 king bedrooms, and the “Spare Oom” with 4 twin beds. The upstairs bathroom is located between the rooms. The Master Bedroom offers unbeatable views of the Gulf of America. It opens onto a porch.
Each bedroom comes equipped with a Roku TV and Wi-Fi runs throughout the house. A charcoal grill is located on a covered patio beneath the house.

Summary: The house was very much as described in the listing, lots of space, walk right onto the beach from the pool, amazing views. The appliances were all new in the kitchen, which was very nice. The sofas & upholstered chairs in the living room were dingy and very dirty. We covered them up with sheets for the duration of the stay. The house was reasonably clean, but there was paint peeling and cracks noted throughout. The extra pillows provided in the closets were all dingy with brown spots all over them so we didn’t use them. Outside, the deck is wooden and worn, and we had multiple children with splinters by the end of the week that had to be picked out. The pool is great, about 5ft deep in the middle, but the smaller pool is really a kiddie pool. I thought it was a hot tub from the pictures, but there are no jets and no heat. We had a few little ones with us so it worked perfect for them, although the adults were a little disappointed. The charcoal grill downstairs did not have a grate we could use, it was busted up and had a big hole in the middle. Our neighbor on the east side let us use theirs when we wanted to cook out there. The swing on the master patio would have been nice, but was peeling paint so badly you couldn’t sit on it without getting paint chips all over you. The beach was the reason we came, more than the house even. It was awesome. We did have to deal with some biting flies on the beach, so highly recommend taking a flyswatter and some bug spray. Good times!
