Positive: This house is simply gorgeous. It is a traditional house on a number of floors with two outside terraces, one being on the roof. It is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well equipped. The location is 5 minutes to the sea front, shops, fabulous market and the ferry port as well as many restaurants and bars. Peter is delightful and greeted us with a wealth of knowledge and a lovely welcome, that included wine and a traditional baked item. He even came to bid us goodbye at the edge of the of our stay. The highlight of the stay was sitting on the roof to take in the sunshine or watch the sun rise over the buildings and the sea.
Negative: Absolutely nothing at all. Worthy of note are the almost 60 steps from ground floor to bedrooms and to the roof. It wasn’t something we didn’t like but it is to be noted.
Summary: A beautiful Olhaoan house in a fabulous location.
