Popular Private Home in the exclusive enclave of Rustic Canyon (between Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades). Past guests have included academy award winning actors/actresses and their families, famous musicians, directors, writers, performers, and other celebrities. Lots of stories! Area is filled with lots of mature trees and stunning architecture in a very relaxed environment.
Large expansive property with huge pool and spa, and multiple indoor/outdoor entertaining areas.
Beautiful home, full of character, blend between Rustic modern and Japanese style on 1/2 acre property. In Main house, 3 very comfortable bedrooms two with King beds, one with a Queen bed, fully equipped cook's kitchen, fireplace, several large outdoor decks, 2 bathrooms with shower, one with spa tub. Flatscreen TVs and desks in each bedroom.
Dining table expands to accommodate 10 comfortably.
Outdoor dining area can accommodate 20+.
Separate Guest house studio has its own queen bed, sitting area, full bath, and large screen tv. It is equipped with a refrigerator, sink, and microwave.
Separate downstairs space with padded gym floor, water rowing machine, and flatscreen.
Almost all rooms have very high, vaulted wooden ceilings, and hardwood and exotic stone floors throughout the home.
Equipped with wifi internet and alexas throughout, and air conditioning although you will likely never need the AC.

Very large Pool and Spa, and extremely private from neighbors. A 200 ft line of tall Eucalyptus trees line the top part of a very lush green property. On a cul-de-sac private road, three houses from the end.
Guests have access to the pool and spa, all the main areas of the house, nearby secret walking trails, tennis courts, playground, and other sport courts in walking distance at the Rustic Canyon Community Center, parking for up to 8 cars on the property, lots of privacy, and proximity to the beach, downtown Santa Monica, downtown Pacific Palisades, and tons of restaurants all within a few miles.

Summary: I just wanted to thank Jason and Karen for being such lovely hosts. The house is incredibly beautiful, lots of thoughtful touches, even more than what you can appreciate in the pictures. It's also larger than how it looks in the online images, partly because it's so open and the ceilings are so high. I stayed there with my extended family, 8 of us total, and we all felt at home with plenty of space for all of us. The nature surrounding the home is stunning and it was so airy, quiet, and private. Every morning we'd hang out on the patios with our coffee by the fountain, and we'd see tons of different bird varieties. The pool is huge and heated, and we made use of it every day of our stay. It's also dramatically lit at night with edison lights which made for some very charming evenings. And then we'd continue our family time on another big open patio where the grill and outdoor dining tables are, with more edison bulb string lights overhead. We found ourselves spending way more time at the house than we ever thought we would. We already inquired for some future dates for myself, girlfriend, and a couple close friends. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a vacation or needing a place to stay in LA.
