Come and enjoy the beauty of Central Oregon while you stay in this unique chalet style home nestled in the hills of Powell Butte. This high desert property has views of Cascade mountains and Smith Rock. The home sits on 5 acres for privacy and has a detached guest suite that rents separately or both properties together. It is centrally located between Bend, Redmond and Prineville for a wide range of outdoor activities including easy access to Brasada Ranch and Smith Rock. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and wildlife walks.
Our space is set up for relaxation with wonderful views and privacy. The feature that sets this home apart and gives it the wow factor is the great room. With floor to ceiling windows facing west you get views of the Cascade mountains and beautiful sunsets. The large windows bring the outdoors in with tons of natural light and allows the natural landscape to be viewed from many areas of this home. This room also has a beautifully lofted A frame ceiling with exposed beams and natural wood plank covering the ceiling.
The great room has two cozy leather couches to nestle in, a wood stove to warm up next to during the cold/snowy nights, a smart tv to watch movies and shows with your own personal accounts, and a card/game table for entertainment.
Go upstairs to the loft to get a different perspective of the amazing view, tuck yourself into a comfy chair with a good book, or if you do need to get some work done there is a desk and office space.
Past the loft is the master bedroom and full bath. With plenty of closet space, a full dresser, and a queen sized bed you will be able to put your suit cases away and stay for a while. There is also a large industrial ceiling fan for your comfort and airflow.
Back downstrairs there are two bedrooms. 1 bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has 2 twins. Both have closet space and a dresser. Down the same hall as the bedrooms is a full bath and a laundry room/closet.
The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need as well as a shelved pantry. Two bar stools allow for conversations while cooking or extra seating.
Right off of the kitchen is the dinning room with a beautifully lofted ceiling and windows letting in lots of natural light. Above the dinning room table, that seats 8, is a large contemporary chandelier.
Off of the dinning room is a large sliding door where you can access the patio, backyard, and BBQ.
The backyard space is fully fenced and has a play structure. The patio wraps around to the great room were you also can enter through a sliding door. During the summer months the patio has comfortable outdoor couches and dinning.
