Positive: Excellent location in a good neighborhood 5 minutes from a tram stop. The apartment was very nice, comfortable and quiet. It was well-equipped except for the deficiencies outlined below. The area around it was very nice, with many shops close by.
Negative: There were two main areas of deficiencies that actually made us think about leaving early as we had a long stay planned. 1. Bedroom: We knew from the ad that the bedroom would be small, however the bed was oriented 90 degrees off from the photo which made it difficult for the second person to get into the bed because it was against the wall and there was limited room at the bottom. That put the head of the bed against the window and radiator, which made it uncomfortable. The bed was also quite hard in certain places and it did not have a normal bed mattress. There was only one single-size thin duvet on the bed, which is inadequate for two people. Our first night was very uncomfortable and cold. We seriously considered leaving early at this point. However, because we really wanted to stay and enjoy our Christmas/New Year, we found a Jysk store nearby and purchased a double-size duvet and cover set of our own. We shouldn't have had to do this! 2. Kitchen: The kitchen was fairly well equipped but we did find some pans that were very greasy and we had to clean them before use (probably the result of only being cleaned in the dishwasher). Also, some of the dishes still had food on them and had to be scrubbed (again probably due to the use of the dishwasher). There was a very nice fridge-freezer in the property. However, we found it very difficult to open the freezer drawers because they were so frosted up. We had to defrost the freezer to actually use it. Again, we shouldn't have had to do that. Finally, there was no signal on the TV channels.
Summary: We enjoyed the apartment and would happily stay again if the deficiencies noted were corrected.
