Set in beautiful North Devon countryside yet only a short drive from the stunning sandy beaches at Woolacombe and Putsborough, The Linhay at Wheel Farm is a two bedroom, couple and family friendly cottage accommodating up to four. It is a lovely cosy cottage that is perfect for couples and small families looking for a quiet countryside retreat but remaining within easy reach of North Devon's beaches, towns and attractions.
Once inside, the accommodation is all on one level. The living area is open plan with a modern well-equipped kitchen, pine dining table with 4 chairs and a spacious lounge with two sofas and a flat-screen TV. It has a large double bedroom with a wardrobe and the second bedroom has bunk-beds, ideal for children. There is a modern family bathroom, which has a bath and a shower overhead, a wash basin and a WC. The cottage also has WiFi, which is ideal for those looking to keep up to date with work when staying at Wheel Farm,
Outside the cottage shares the wonderful communal facilities at Wheel Farm. There is an indoor heated swimming pool and Sauna and a full-size tennis court, as well as a large children's play area.
The real attraction of being at Wheel Farm is not just the fact that you have so many wonderful things to do on-site but the fact that the cottages are only a few miles away from the seaside towns of Combe Martin and Ilfracombe and the fantastic beaches at Woolacombe and Putsborough and Saunton Sands around the corner. As well as being a short drive from the wilds of Exmoor.
There are plenty of options for days out, with visits to the Cliff Railway at Lynton and Lynmouth, and a walk to Heddon's Mouth to name a few. Exmoor Zoo, Arlington Court, RHS Rosemoor, The Big Sheep and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park are all just a short drive away and offer enjoyment whatever your age.
Please note that the Linhay can be booked either on its own or in conjunction with the other 10 cottages located at Wheel Farm. The Linhay is a pet free cottage.
