Our pretty one bedroom apartment is a separate and private space within our traditional Maison de Maître. Situated in one of the liveliest medieval Minervois villages, everything is within walking distance from restaurants & shops to the famous medieval Abbey. With wineries, and mountain walking tracks nearby it is only a short drive to Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi. This charming apartment is perfect for couples and friends looking to explore the region and all it has to offer.
Our Maison de Maître is an elegant bourgeois house built in 1850's and once owned by the Mayor. The apartment is situated on the ground floor, to the left of the main entrance. It combines vintage style with modern amenities to provide every comfort for your stay.
Entrance - You enter via the garage and into the garden. With an ancient Wisteria providing a canopy of shade from the sun, you have a lovely private terrace with a table and chairs so you can relax and dine outside. The main entrance to the apartment is via the kitchen.
Kitchen - Modern, fully equipped with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and all pots/pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils. There is a small dining table for two. You are welcome to use any groceries in the pantry but please replace those that run empty.
Bathroom - Modern large, powerful Italian shower, basin and toilet. Heated towel rail, hairdryer and basic toiletries provided.
Bedroom - With a high double glazed window, the bright and spacious bedroom has a queen size bed which can be made up as a double or two singles. There is a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, a large chest of drawers and a comfortable armchair.
Sitting Room - Seating for four, with a coffee table and French doors leading out into the garden. There is a writing desk with two chairs which can also be used as a dining table if needed. There is a TV (chromecast)and a Stereo with bluetooth.
Your private entrance is via the garage and you are very welcome to store bikes, paddle boards etc here.
There is free street parking outside the house.
All towels and linen are provided.
There are two electric fans for summer and central heating for the winter months.
For a minimal fee a washing machine is available for use in the main house, upon request.
We have a House manual which we will send you if you make a booking.
