Delightful home in a quaint tree-lined neighborhood just steps to adorable downtown San Anselmo. This charming light filled spacious cottage enjoys all the classic detailing of a home built in 1929. The designer furniture and accents throughout give it a homey comfortable feel yet with all modern needs.
Upon entering the home there is a spacious living room with fireplace, large white slipcovered Pottery Barn sofa, two leather armchairs, 65" Smart Samsung TV and a deck off the living room with seating for five and views of mountains. The spacious formal dining room offers seating for up to 8-10 (with leaves) and overlooks the front porch with stone bench, darling tree-lined street and also has views of Mt. Baldy! The country chef's kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed along with a gas stove, dishwasher and Panasonic inverter microwave. Off the kitchen is the mud room/laundry room with Samsung steam washer/dryer; this leads to the backyard and side entrance. The sweet rustic garden is filled with plants, flowers, vegetables and fruit trees; there is also a gas BBQ and table seating for six along with several other benches and chairs.
The first bedroom looks out to the backyard and has a California King Bed, 55" Samsung TV and LG A/C window unit (only air conditioner) along with a closet and dresser for use. The sunny second bedroom overlooks the deck and has a queen-sized bed, dresser, closet and large desk. In between the bedrooms is the light and airy bathroom with stall shower and picture window overlooking the backyard.
Located in Ross Valley just steps to historic Robson Harrington Park with beautiful community gardens, the home is also just a few minute walk to downtown San Anselmo, a 10-15 minute walk (5 min drive) to downtown Fairfax, 10 minute drive to both downtown San Rafael and historic Larkspur and short drive or walk to many trails! San Anselmo is only a 35 minute drive to the coast, 40 minutes to Sonoma wineries, 15 minutes to Sausalito and 25 minutes to San Francisco!
