Summary: Overall excellent stay. Chris was terrific to communicate with; he was on top of everything and helpful in every way. We were looking for a house, rather than a townhouse or condo, to accommodate our daughter (11) and dogs. The house was perfect for our needs. The inside is very well done and clean; the cleaning crew had a nice welcoming package on arrival. Internet worked great, and all the TV's were ROKU so once you figured out what you wanted to stream you were set (who knew there was a Baywatch channel?). Driving to Savannah is easy; it's only 15 minutes to the tourist area. It's about 15 minutes to shopping west which is just off I95, with lots of retail and restaurants. If you're looking for a quick getaway and need some space, this is a great option. Also if you're looking for a place to spend a little time and plop down in the home with a very nice backyard and firepit, this is a great option as well. The house is locate in Port Wentworth, and the community is a working class community. Nearby are the paper mill and sugar refinery as well as the Port of Savannah. Folks were friendly enough when you passed by walking the dogs. But it's not the type of neighborhood where you and your family might load up a bunch of bikes or roller blades and look to scoot around the community. Across the street is the senior citizens and rec center. That provides a nice route to walk your dogs if the backyard isn't enough. But you will have to drive to attractions/retail (not walk).
