Newly renovated family getaway set up with family fun in mind. It has deeded lake access to Lake Macatawa where you can launch kayaks, paddle boards, etc. just a 2 minute walk away. The dock belongs to our association and is not to be used by guests. Please respect that rule.
The large lower level boasts one of the best game rooms in the area featuring air hockey, foosball, and bubble hockey. (A ping pong table is set up in the garage.). There is an assortment of board games and puzzles for all ages. There are TWO large screen smart tvs so you'll never miss a play while gaming with the kids or relaxing in front of the fireplace. The kitchenette has a beverage cooler and plenty of seating and counter space to lay out your snacks. Just outside the slider is a deck with an inviting hot tub and small seating area. Just a few steps more and you are at the fire pit to roast your marshmallows and have cocktails in the evenings. The pit is a solo stove and is smokeless so not to worry about getting "smoked out" like old fashioned fire pits. There is a changing room to grab a towel and hang your suits along with a half bath and full bath with tub. The large bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunkbeds. The two hide-a-beds unfold into smaller "fulls" that will comfortably sleep one adult or two young children.
On the main level there is a well apointed kitchen with newer stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar overlooking the cozy den with new gas log fireplace and skylight. The sofa makes another small "full" and will accommodate one adult or 2 children. The three season room is outfitted with charming, comfortable furniture and table and chairs overlooking the wooded backyard and firepit. On the small connecting deck is a Weber charcoal grill and you'll find the grill tools hanging just inside the backdoor to the garage. At the front of the house is the dining room with seating for eight. and a living room with the best couch to cuddle up on and read bedtime stories to the little ones or enjoy your morning coffee. There are three bedrooms on the main level.
Bedroom one has two twin xl beds. Bedroom two and three each have queens. The main bathroom is bright and has loads of storage and counter space with a bathtub. The second bathroom has a walk-in shower and doubles as the laundry room. There is a pack-n-play and high chair for your convenience.
There is plenty of parking so bring your boat! The boat launch is 2 miles away.
There are miles of bike paths just 2 blocks away.
Holland State Park is 4 miles away.
Downtown Holland is a short 8 minute drive with plenty of shopping and dining options.
Saugatuck is a 27 minute drive with many unique shops and dining.
Fenn Valley winery is a picturesque 30 minute drive.
